About Us
Real therapy starts
when you feel truly understood.
At Zamini Psychotherapy, we provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy that helps individuals and couples move from emotional pain to clarity, connection, and strength.
Led by Soheila Zamini, ICEEFT Certified and Couple Therapist with over 18 years of professional experience, our work is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). EFT is one of the most effective approaches for healing relationship distress, reducing emotional overwhelm, and building secure attachment. Every session is designed to feel safe, respectful, and focused on real change.
“Therapy is not about fixing you. It is about helping you feel emotionally safe enough to grow, heal, and reconnect with yourself and the people you love.”
Zamini Psychotherapy does not provide 24-hour crisis services. If you are experiencing an emergency, feel unsafe, or require immediate medical or psychiatric assistance, please contact emergency services by calling 911.

Emotion-Focused Therapist
Soheila Zamini
I’m Soheila Zamini, a Registered
Psychotherapist (RP) and ICEEFT-Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist for individuals and couples. With over 18 years of experience, I support clients in navigating emotional pain, relationship challenges, trauma, and major life transitions in a warm, compassionate, and structured therapeutic space.
I believe meaningful healing begins when you feel truly seen, heard, and emotionally safe. My work is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based approach that helps individuals and couples understand their emotions, break painful patterns, and build secure, healthy connections. I also integrate CBT, ACT, and DBT techniques to tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs.
I offer therapy in Persian (Farsi) and Azerbaijani Turkish and bring deep cultural understanding into my work, allowing clients to express themselves naturally and feel fully understood in a culturally sensitive environment.
Throughout my career, I have supported people through anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, immigration stress, and life transitions—helping them build emotional resilience, self-compassion, and clarity.
Alongside my clinical practice, I have experience in university teaching and psychological research, with publications in peer-reviewed journals. My background in Persian literature further enriches my work with emotional depth and cultural insight.
If you are seeking healing, growth, or stronger relationships, I would be honoured to support you on your journey.
